I liked the original Flip, but this Flip Ultra has it all. I especially appreciate the digital readout of battery power left. The auto on-off feature when you “flip” the cartridge is also an improvement over having to turn on-off with 5 presses.

This is the holy grail of 510 batteries. It has everything you could ever want in a battery, including precise temperature settings and an auto on/off feature. My only complaint is that after about a week of use, the rubber coating began to peel. I’ve been using it for three weeks, and the coating is about 1/4 gone. I hope the battery will look better once all of the rubber coating peels off.

I only review things if it’s so bad I can’t justify the cost or if it’s so good it blows me out of the water: I really can’t believe how awesome this is.
-Better and more consistent delivery than my PCKT One Plus. Had to RMA my POP for a cart sensing issue and the thing is still occasionally hit-or-miss despite regular cleaning and troubleshooting.
-It has the benefit of dual charging ports which felt gimmicky at first, but is really convenient as hell.
-Auto on/off is a game changer. It’s insane how awesome this is. No accidental activation or flip out of the cart in your pocket as well as the new locking feature.
My only suggestion would be an inhale-activated draw mode for ease of use for those with arthritic conditions, but I still love me a button-operated vape: no issues with it potentially not sensing the cartridge, or with people for whom lung strength is a concern but medical marijuana is helpful!
Overall, this is now my go-to and will be my most used vape until a new one is released, this one breaks and I have to use the warranty, or a better one comes out (lmao, good luck). Great job and thank you.

Anyone that has been using 510 threaded batteries for more than a year or two has undoubtedly experienced these pain points:
– The majority of batteries on the market appear to be the same rebranded Chinese goods
– Extremely high failure rates due to low quality batteries or contact plates decoupling
– Warranties that are either very short, deceptive or impossible to file claims for
– Easy to lose and misplace (largely my own fault, partly a result of form factor)
In 2018 I purchased a 2-pack of O2vape Vari-vapes and found them to be very solid products. After a couple months, the contact plate on one of the batteries came off as I was removing the cartridge and I filed a warranty claim. I received a very friendly response from support along with some great practical advice on preventing the same issue in the future (beware of leaky cartridges!) and the item was replaced as promised. A year later, however, I’ve managed to lose both of these batteries to no fault of O2vape.
Needless to say, I was ready to find a 510 battery that would last longer than a year and wouldn’t get lost as easily. So I bit the bullet and decided to invest in a Flip Ultra and here are my impressions after about a week:

– With children in my house, the locking mechanism gives me extra piece of mind
– The weight & balance feels great in your hand

So far I am very pleased with this purchase. O2vape earned my repeat business after a painless warranty claim and I’m glad I went with them again. I highly recommend this product!

Awesome device! I have used the 5-press-on/off batteries, the button-less pens, and the disposable pens. This is hands-down the best vape pen I’ve used. I don’t have to worry about it going off in my pocket or purse. I feels good in my hand. I really, really like the variable voltage settings! That’s my favorite part! I can quickly control level of the hit.
I have only 2 concerns. The battery doesn’t last nearly as long as I would like. I charged the pen before I used it for the first time, and it doesn’t last a full 18-hours. My other pens hold a charge for 2-3 days max. The other concern I have is that cartridge can get very hot when I use it at a 3.0v or higher. The tip gets hot enough that I’m concerned about burning my lips. Even with these concerns, it’s still my favorite pen to use!

I’ve been using this device for a month now, and yes, this is my first 510 battery, so I don’t have a lot to compare it to. All I know is mine is the sweetest first 510 battery ever. Excellent vapor quality at nearly every voltage setting. As stealthy as any old key fob. Unlike another reviewer, I’ve had no problem with battery life or mouthpieces getting too hot. My puff counter is at 410 and I’ve charged it twice (without it ever dying on me; average 3.8 volt draw). I did have to contact their customer service when the screen threw a short circuit message at me. An employee responded within an hour and offered their professional advice. Turns out one of my carts is weird (paper clip to the rescue) and voila, all fixed! No other cart has caused a problem before or since. Regardless, excellent customer service! Ooh I almost forgot to mention the charging options. THE CHARGING OPTIONS!!! Love. I’m curious what the next iteration will bring because the ultra already has everything I could want. Swiss army 510 battery? Oh yes make that.

I have been using my new FlipUltra for a while and it is by far the best on the market. I am a fairly new user but my very seasoned smoker partner is even impressed, which is no easy feat! He’s very much an “old dogs cant learn new tricks” type of man where he is very comfortable and happy using the classics.
The description is very spot on. You will not be disappointed with any of the features available on this battery. My favorite part, though, is the discretion. It easily blends in and looks just like part of your every day carry items. I attached mine to a spiral wrist band with a cigarette clip keychain, lighter leash and lighter, and my locked safe keys so that I have all of my smoking necessities close by and always on hand. It literally just looks like a set of keys.
The easy flip open and close is great. I tend to get over-excited sometimes, though, and forget to let it actually turn it on before taking a hit lol so beware of this. Give it at least half a second to get going.
The puff counter is great. I haven’t needed to use this but it is great to monitor how much you’re smoking in a day.
My second favorite feature is the battery life display. I can’t tell you the number of pens that have failed me just because I had no clue my battery was low.
Last, this pen fits GREAT in any size hand. I have teeny tiny hands and my boyfriend has extremely large hands (he’s 6’5″). Both of us love the weight and actual size of this product. My hand easily wraps all the way around, concealing it even more.

I’ve had a Flip Platinum for a couple of years and have always loved it. The concept, design, and build quality are superb. The only thing I thought it might benefit from was a bigger battery. On an impulse stirred by a coupon, I ordered the Flip Ultra. AS good as the Platinum is, the Ultra is a great improvement! Slightly smaller, it feels great in the hand. The “Flip” mechanism also feels more solid and secure. I thought I’d miss the built in USB cable but always wondered if it broke, then what? I don’t mind using the separate cable especially with the improved battery size. Of course, the digital display makes a significant difference especially if you’re going out (like to a concert) and you need to make sure it’s fully charged! It also allows greater and more precise voltage selection. I’m still playing with it.
Given the moderate price difference….Go For It, you won’t be disappointed!! Plus, there’s the “Wow” Factor!!

I am a huge fan of this product. The fact that I can use my iPhone charger is a game changer for those times where you need a quick charge when you’re out and about. I also like the display screen with the battery life and the amount of times you’ve hit the pen. I’ve had this pen for four months and glad I made the purchase. Battery life is good, with moderate use it takes about a week and a few days before I have to charge it. But my definition of moderate may be different from someone else’s. The only issue I have is as one customer stated the rubber coating of my device is peeling off. But would recommend.

I had an old vape pen I had purchased from O2 a few years back. I recently replace my vape pen with with the Flip Ultra and wished I would have done it sooner. You can charge the unit with an iPhone charger which is fantastic because I usually don’t carry micro usb chargers with me at all times. The display is clear and helps you identify when you need a charge and the appropriate voltage setting. The flip lock works well and is a great feature. Would buy another one tomorrow!!!!

I just got this item in the mail today and it weighs almost identical to my “other brand” of 650mah variable voltage battery, but performs light years ahead of every other brand I have tried. It arrived about 98% percent charged (thank you) so it only took a few minutes to fully charge via the Lightning port (nice touch btw). Keep the Lightning port as Lightning cables are cheap and plentiful. Box was sealed with a Official O2 Holographic seal, another nice touch. I expected the instructions to be semi complicated, but nope they were simply and easy. The display is nice and bright. I like how the display dims after 15 seconds when it goes into power save mode, another nice touch. A well thought out design for sure. I’m digging it so far and I have used “many” different brands of batteries for years now, but this one is way ahead of the pack and this one is by far my new favorite! 😉

And since everyone wants to know issues before getting to accolades, I only have one minor gripe and that’s my bad timing because about 3 days after I bought mine for $54.95 I get a Sale email which shows it on sale for $41.95. Thems the breaks, some days ya catch every green light and some days ya catch all the reds, ha! When I received my new Flip Ultra I waited until I had a worthy cart to break it in. So I had a few days to check it out a little more. Ya know how sometimes as soon as you pick something up it feels solid and well-built? Well, that’s the Flip Ultra. It has great tactile feel, there is NO slop in its construction, the buttons feel ‘just right’ for their respective functions, the screen is very easy to read, the “flip” has been likened to a switchblade and I wholeheartedly agree, and the battery deserves its own kudos. Ahh the battery, so far I have charged this baby ONCE and I’m STILL showing 2 bars! I loaded that new (Eureka) cart onto my Flip Ultra 2 weeks ago, been hitting it every evening, 2 weekends hitting it with my lady and it’s still chuggin along quite nicely. YMMV based on settings I’m sure, but still, I’d say it’s a safe bet you’d be pleased with the battery life. The locking feature on the back is brilliant, so simple but so smart. It opened on me once because “I” forgot to lock it and the one time was enough for me to appreciate the Lock feature on the Flip Ultra even more. The black surface is like that upscale ‘rubber’ feel we’ve all grown to like regardless of application so it won’t ‘slip’ out of your hand/fingers if they’re wet. Again, smart. I REALLY like that I have two different ports to charge it so I can use my iPhone cable to charge it, no extra cable needed. Smart & smart. This Flip Ultra simply looks, feels, functions, and hits, like a thing of quality. Probably because it is. I happily recommend this vape. I dig this thing enough that I’ll be getting one for my lady since she LOVES it, I think it’s become another erogenous zone for her, and so she’ll stop taking mine. Ha!

The BEST 510 threaded “mod box” I’ve ever owned, I like to keep it at 3.2-3.5 to make my carts last but when feeling chippy I crank it to max (4.8) & it hits like a champ! I kept seeing reviews of others saying to make it Usb-C, I’ve been an early adopter to usb c & I cant for the life of me know why you’d want that over lightning (esp with a 5v brick) if you use an Iphone the lightning is always with you (duh) it charges just as quick as usbc with such a small device. I just received my Flip Ultra yesterday and I was upgrading from a very basic $20 “LoKey” fob style battery. The flip ultra definitely addressed my concerns with the cheap off-brand version. It turns off automatically when folded closed, no more accidental pocket vaping. The flip mechanism has a lock, no more getting stuck in small pockets when opened unintentionally. It was very nice to see optional USB C charging. Also, my last battery had only 3 preset temps it was either a nice low temp or hot and hurty! The Flip Ultra gave me a wider Temp range and I love being able to adjust in small increments providing any temp vaping you are comfortable with (paired with Buddy Diamonds full gram cart).

It’s very well built and doesn’t feel cheap at all. The controls are simple and intuitive. I learned them in 15 seconds.
The body of the unit protects your cartridge. I sleep with it retracted in my bed with zero issues. The ui is bright and readable. The variable temperate functionality shines as well. Add to that a battery indicator and this is far above industry standards.

If you don’t like having to spend time shopping and doing excessive reading to find the best of something simple; this is your stop. Hopped on google and looked up the best 510 vape. Scrolled a few top 10 articles and this one looked like the right one. Ordered it and the UPS Ground shipping came correct getting it to Philly in two days.
The two charge ports are great because of the prevalence of the iPhone. Doesn’t matter if you are around team iPhone or team Android. There will always be a charger around.
The cartridge that comes with it is of admirable quality. I don’t fill my own so it sits in the box unused for the time being. As for the unit; it just works and the voltage goes low enough that you pretty much can’t burn the wick unless you try. The folding mechanism in it is sturdy and the spring has a little kick to it. In your hand or pocket it doesn’t feel like you need to handle it like an egg. Bottom line is it’s worth it.

The sleek design makes it not fill my pockets (I carry a lot for my wife) I honestly love the readable digital voltage. I honestly thought it wouldn’t be readable after constantly using my ultra flip I haven’t seen one different in wear. And also they’re a veteran owned business how could you not go wrong with spending the little extra cash! The only thing I found abit wrong maybe it’s just the way I charge it but once I hit full battery for some reason a bar of the battery is gone soon as I take it off the charger. This is just about the perfect device for vaping on the go. It is extremely well thought-out. It has every feature you need and really none that you don’t. My favorite mod/battery yet!
I’ve owned maybe 15 different mods in the last few years and the Flip Ultra is by far my favorite. The flipping action is powerful and locks into each position with authority. A really nice feature often overlooked by the cheaper competing models, it automatically turns on when flipped open and turns off when closed. The manual “lockout” feature gives me piece of mind that it won’t flip open in my pocket unintentionally. The puff counter is a nice bonus to observe the longevity of different products. Voltage is adjustable in 0.1V increments so I can really fine tune the flavor/vapor. Another nice little bonus is that it can be charged with either a regular mini usb we all have tons of, or with an Apple lightning cable. Big battery, small footprint, build quality feels solid in hand. A solid offering from o2vape to be sure. 10/10 recommend.

It auto disables when closed so no more burning pockets, it has a great digital display for battery and a counter for how many times you puff on it. Nice secure feel to the flip up part. It is all metal where it counts and i love the soft feel of the plastic parts. Also good for my pocket is the “over smoking” feature that cuts it off when you’re pulling too long lol. It’s not much bigger than my car fob. Highly recommend this!!! One more thing I forgot to mention is this has charging ports that fit apple or android connections so you can literally just plug into whatever is close by when needed although mine holds an excellent charge.

It has a nice feel in hand; soft, smooth, not that cheap hard plastic feel like some others. The auto on/off with the “flip” excellent idea, a step up from the 5-clicks – which is ok Im not complaining. The 5-clicks on my woodgrain 3.7XL are nice and smooth and feels good to my thumb 🙂 and that’s comparable to a Chrys 300 srt8 imo a decent powerful car! However, the Filp Ultra is like a Mercedes S65 and that’s verrrryyy niiiiceeee!!!!! Power and luxury my favorite combo! I can’t wait to see what’s next. I’m happy to review things I love and hate. This vape system I LOVE! I’ve used other cartridge systems that suck. They just can’t deliver the potency I need and are EXPENSIVE. I have a pal with a co2 extractor, which produces a phenomenal oil. The problem was using it meant edibles (wait time) or dab rig (instant). The Flip Ultra and O2vape cartriges work like a dab rig but much easier and less messy. I’m now in love with cartriges. Using heavy oil syringes and O2vape 2mm opening cartriges is the best system I’ve seen.

This is the best and strongest battery you can get! I love the locking mechanism that helps protect my cartridges when not in use. The counter helps me estimate how much I have left before I need to get a new cart. I got this as an upgrade over one of the cheepo $15 battery, and man is it night and day. The burn on this is so much smoother and even. The adjustable voltage is a huge plus, with it on 3.2 volts Ive managed to increase my cart life from about 3-4 days to 8-9, practically doubling what I get out of a cart that would normally burn to hot and fast. The flip function is just icing on the cake, it has a very nice feel when its flipped out. But while closed the lock on the side has saved me countless times. I know I’ve been in the position where I was out at dinner and to my surprise my battery had been burnin through a fresh cart cuz my pants had turned it on and was holding the button down. With the lock I dont worry about it going off in my pants or bag ever anymore.
Id say all on all its an amazing product. The only reason I haven’t given it 5 stars is because only a month after getting it, it seems to be peeling. What I mean by this is whatever paint coating they used on this just does not like my sweat or something, as all over the device its just peeling off. Now this doesn’t affect how it works at all and is purely cosmetic, but it is a little sad too see it peeling so soon

I’ve had every generation of Flip Ultra that 02 has produced since 2020 and their product quality has continuously evolved. My last ultra was one the (2nd gen) first that could hold wider cartridges and I just received my warranty replacement. Very pleased with the voltage minimum being lowered to 2.1; perfect. It either delivers power more efficiently or outputs more than what it is displayed, and I lean toward the former. Compared to my 1st gen (back when they only fit regular sized carts) at 2.3v this outputs more than the oldest does at 3.4; heck, even the one I warrantied didn’t put this much out till 2.9-3.0. Very pleased with the improvements and upgrades.

I’ll start with the only problem I found: wide 2g cartridge (BoxHot cruise control for example) don’t fit when you close the vape, the frame is barely missing 1mm and needs to be forced just slightly. Assuming modifying the device by filing the inside of the frame will void the lifetime warranty, this problem can’t be dealt with “properly”.
Now the good points!
This vape is amazing for anyone who enjoys staying medicated throughout the day without being noticed. You can slide it inside your pocket watch pocket (little pocket on your right thigh) and go on with your business. The battery is big enough to skip daily charging. The usb type C and Lightning port do not have any rubber covers to protect against pocket dirt but the back of the Flip ultra does have enough room for those port covers that come with a square stickers meant for the back of your phone, so you don’t lose the little cover. The wattage control is a nice option you don’t see often. There is no preheat mode, firing a few seconds before inhaling will do the same job.
This vape is amazing, but is missing a few “out of the box” gimmicks to be perfect. Nonetheless, compared to what is on the market, this is the best 510 vape you can get right now. (March 2023)

There is a reason for so many 5 star reviews, this thing is worth its money and then some. When I describe it, I always show the glass cart first, saying it’s the bees knees, then the battery, it’s the bee. I’d your interested in the glass carts, it’s practically a must, but even with regular 510 carts, this battery is world’s apart. Battery meter, hit counter, dual charging ports. It’s become my go to battery, and love talking about it.

The BEST vape battery and very thankful I found the flip. No, I don’t work for O2Vape I am a proud buyer. I am always dropping stuff and every time I would drop my battery I would break at least two full G glass 510 carts a week. This protects the cart I haven’t lost one cart since I bought O2Vape “The Flip”. The design is perfect a little bigger than most car fobs. Also add a O2Vape lanyard helps me not to lose it. Wow! I am SO glad I found this company–I did the research, and I am writing this review to save you time! Buy it! I got a regular pen battery and this awesome key-fob flip battery. We do not live in a friendly state, but even if we did, I think I would want this battery anyway. How many pens have rolled away and gotten lost…sure it’s fun to find it later, but that’s the exception. Even with raging ADHD–I can keep up with this key fob because I attached a TILE to it. Just like a keyring–my TILE can locate it–and it’s on a lanyard that I can wear on my neck around the house. I use a German company for dry herb vapes, and now I exclusively use o2vape for my 510 threads. I leave Amazon reviews a few times a year, but I never take the time to do it for smaller companies, and this one absolutely deserves it. Can I attend t-ball games without it? Sure, but why in the world would I go without my key? I use it ONLY with the brand Select from Curaleaf, so this review is for medical-grade cannabis use. I love the hit counter–no idea this feature existed! At this price, I know exactly what several friends will be getting as their next gift! It’s packaged really well, too.

Imma be honest.. I will pop this bad boy out like a switch blade *Click* look my wife dead in the eyes and say “gimme the cash!” That alone makes this worth it.
Jokes aside, I own about 2 dozen batteries and spent over a thousand dollars on these devices. This is easily the best device I have ever used. I’ll tell you why;
1. Battery life on this thing is phenomenal 2. The gauge gives an accurate reading which is super helpful for a bunch of reasons I shouldn’t have to list
3. The click isn’t just a novelty, it allows the cartridge to be stowed which in turn is a slimmer profile in your pocket. Less likely to stab a moron like myself in the upper thigh while in their jeans and doing things they shouldn’t. It also helps to prevent stuff from getting into the tip of the cartridge (to an extent, I would actually make the request to have a cap you could put on the end of the cart or to have something that would protect it when it’s stowed)
4. MOST IMPORTANT – I haven’t burnt the wick on a single cartridge since I started using it. It’s all about that level of control that it gives. This seemed like a needless function for a long time to me however I am tired of burning wicks in $60 cartridges. Not to mention it allows me to really dial in the optimal flavor for each cart because they all seem to be different apparently and I didn’t know that until having this level of control on the temperature.
All of this is certainly encouraging for me to think about trying some of their other devices, just having a hard time finding a reason to do so since this thing is so utterly consummate *chefs kiss*

Never a better one. I bought the All Glass Refillable Cartridge that was $11.45 I believe. I use a syringe to store my filling agents. Filling it was an absolute breeze. I own 4 of these, after falling in love with my first order of 2x along with the warranty.
They’ve definitely been improved tremendously from the ‘loading check’ issue I’ve previously had years ago. They all now last on average well above ‘2400’ hits, compared to averaging ‘1400’ the first few models.
Now I can on average once a year or so get a swap with the warranty ($15 and a few day wait, compared to spending $30-40 on a new store battery), use my backups, and still put others into this sleek, slim, and inconspicuous ‘key-fob’ mod/battery!
PS: it also fits perfectly into your jeans or pants right-corner pocket (coins, pocket-watch, pocket-knife) location!

I love how this vaporizer works! The cartridge is completely protected when folded into the unit. The spring action button release is a really fast, cool feature. Upon opening, the cartridge flips out, and the power automatically comes on. Then just press the button for a 10 second puff. The volts are adjustable to the .1 , from 2.1v-4.8v.
